M.J. Hartell
M. J. HARTELL (Arry) – M.J. is excited to return to TheatreWorks where she appeared last in THE TALE OF THE ALLERGIST’S WIFE. It is fantastic to be onstage live for the first time since the “C” word at this well-loved theater. She is equally excited and honored to be directed by Frank, as well as enjoying being reunited with old friends and meeting new ones. Her favorite TheatreWorks performances include BAREFOOT IN THE PARK, MRS. BOB CRATCHIT’S WILD CHRISTMAS BINGE, BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS, and FUDDY MEERS. In her many moons of performing, M.J. has also appeared at The Brookfield Playhouse, Ridgefield Theater Barn, Musicals at Richter and D’Art. Presently, she performs weekly as a middle school English teacher at Talcott Mountain Academy for gifted students. M. J. dedicates her performance to Liz Marek, her close friend and theater mentor who was killed in the terrorist bombing of Pan Am 103.
