Sydney Coelho

Sydney Coelho is excited to be making her debut this summer here at TheatreWorks! She is a recent graduate of Hofstra University with a B.S. in Music Education. At Hofstra, she was awarded the William H. Lawrence Scholarship and the Shannon Kane Kelly Scholarship for her achievements in Music Performance and Music Education. Recent MT credits include Footloose (Ariel Moore), Next to Normal (Natalie Goodman), Into the Woods (Little Red), Hairspray (Tracy Turnblad), and more. Recent opera credits include The Beggar's Opera (Polly Peachum), La Vie Parisienne (La Barrone), Die Verschworenen (Eine Frau), and Schubert's song cycle, Die Winterreise (featured soloist). Special thanks to Matt, Anna, Jenny, Sage, Meg and Karen for their work throughout this process! Much love to family and friends from near and far, especially Mom and Dad. Enjoy the show!
