McAdory Lipscomb Jr

Vice President
A multi-decade observer and practitioner of the art of live performance, Mac realized his love for theatre and producing events when, in the 1970’s, he opened the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC and the Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta to national Broadway touring companies of Ain’t Misbehavin’, A Chorus Line, The Wiz, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, among others.
He retired to New Milford ten years ago and was lucky to be asked to join the board of TheatreWorks, subsequently being elected vice-president.
He supports New Milford’s efforts to convert the East Street School to a Cultural Center and the renovation of the classic TheatreWorks building.
Mac is former CEO, Accenture partner, Venture Capitalist, and strategic advisor to public company CEO’s, entrepreneurs and political candidates. He was the EVP of Showtime Networks and is a cable industry pioneer.
