Will Jeffries
returns to the TheatreWorks stage where he appeared in TIME STANDS STILL. Entering his 50th year in the theatre, Will is a retired professional actor with a career on stage, television and film spanning over 25 years. Among many other credits, he appeared on NYC stages in two segments of TORCH SONG TRILOGY, by and with Harvey Fierstein; in Brian Friels VOLUNTEERS, with John Goodman, and many more. In Los Angeles, he co-starred with Ricardo Montalban, Stewart Granger, and Lynn Redgrave in DON JUAN IN HELL. He had recurring roles on the series VALERIE/THE HOGAN FAMILY with Valerie Harper, Sandy Duncan and Jason Bateman, ONE WEST WAIKIKI, with Cheryl Ladd, and was the very evil Damon Grenville on GENERAL HOSPITAL. He guest starred on dozens of other series, as well. On local stages he has appeared in CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, THE COCKTAIL HOUR, SLEUTH, LEND ME A TENOR, A TIME TO KILL, DEATH OF A SALESMAN, ALL MY SONS, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, A FEW GOOD MEN, OTHER DESERT CITIES, and many more. He has directed A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, ENTER LAUGHING, THAT CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON, Edward Albees THREE TALL WOMEN and BENT, which won the Onstage Award as BEST PLAY of the year in Connecticut. Will would like to thank his sons, Christian and Dash for their love and support, and especially his wife Mare, whose understanding of the art which compels him is beyond generous, and whose love is everything.
