Audition dates are listed on the form and will be held in person at TheatreWorks New Milford between 6:30 and 9:00 PM, on June 2 and 3, 2026. Please indicate on the form which audition date you are choosing, and if needed, a preferred time. (Please see section “A” below.) Callbacks will be held on June 9 , 2026 at 6:30. Materials will be provided if a callback is needed. Please keep this date open in case you are called back. No tuition is due at the time of audition, only if you are cast.

a. If you need to secure a specific audition time on your chosen audition day, please notify our director, Lori Larson, at simplylola0823@gmail.com, and request the time on your audition form. We will do our best to accommodate your choice.

b. If an actor is unable to make any of the audition dates, a video audition may be submitted. Please notify our director, Lori Larson, of your conflict at simplylola0823@gmail.com, and cc. our music director, Kevin McNulty, for specific audition video instructions at kmcnulty457@outlook.com. A video audition will not be accepted unless notified beforehand.

c. A video audition must follow and contain the same music audition requirements as listed below:

d. If an actor submits a video audition and receives a callback, they must attend the callback in person.

Music: Please find and prepare a 60-90 second cut of a musical theatre song in the style/theme of the show for your audition. An accompanist will NOT be provided, so no sheet music is required. All audition cuts must be memorized. Please bring a charged device with a recording of your accompaniment loaded and ready to play. A Bluetooth speaker will be provided to play your accompaniment from your device. Please do NOT perform a song from the show you are auditioning for.

We may stop your audition cut if you exceed the 60-90 second time allotment or stop it early if we have heard everything we need to hear. We may also ask you to try a few vocal exercises to test your vocal flexibility.

If submitting a video audition, your cut should still be 60-90 seconds with an accompaniment playing in the background. Remember to notify our directors’ team as stated above.

Acting: There will be a cold reading after your music audition. All sides and scene options from the show will be provided when you arrive at the theatre. You do not need to prepare a monologue.
