Shows & Events at TheatreWorks
For more than 50 years, TheatreWorks has focused on presenting the most professionally produced dramas, musicals, and comedies in Western Connecticut with one goal in mind – a great night out. Our Main Stage shows are selected with that goal in mind.
In addition, the FREE Page2Stage Staged Readings series introduces audiences to plays they may have never heard of, read by outstanding regional actors.
And our Youth Programs give kids and teens the chance to learn and grow via the experience of performing.
Finally, TheatreWorks also hosts top-notch outside productions and co-productions at our historic New Milford home.
Current Season
The 2024 TheatreWorks season includes an adventurous slate of productions: Wait Until Dark (Hatcher), Oat Squares, Tales From the Bookside (One Act Competition), Goodwives and the Gallows: Tales from the Connecticut Witchcraft Panics, and Jesus Christ Superstar.
Youth Programs
The TheatreWorks Kids Programs offer extraordinary theatre experiences that educate, challenge, and inspire young people. Led by theatre professionals, TWKids encourages creativity, collaboration, and active imaginations in a fun and welcoming environment.
Staged Readings
The Page2Stage FREE staged reading series was developed to provide a way for TheatreWorks to present scripts from respected authors that may not always receive the attention they fully deserve.
