Three Performances Added to “Tea at Five” TheatreWorks New Milford Adds New Shows on February 22 and 23
NEW MILFORD, CONN. (February 4, 2008) – Due to unprecedented audience demand and overwhelming critical acclaim, TheatreWorks New Milford has added three more performances to its production of TEA AT FIVE ― an intimate and compelling one-woman portrayal of Katharine Hepburn “as told by” the fiery redhead herself. The new shows are scheduled for Friday, February 22, at 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, February 23, at 2:00 p.m. and again at 8:00 p.m.
“We have never seen demand like this for a one-woman, comedy-drama,” said TheatreWorks President, Richard Pettibone. “The success lies with a strong script by Matthew Lombardo, great direction by Jane Farnol and Joseph Russo, and of course, an absolutely astounding and mesmerizing performance by Noel Desiato as Katharine Hepburn.”
TEA AT FIVE runs February 8,9,10 15,16 22,23. Curtain time is 8:00 p.m. on Fridays & Saturdays. Tickets for all shows are $20.00 for reserved seating. PLEASE NOTE: THE FEBRUARY 10, SUNDAY MATINEE IS SOLD OUT. There is now an additional Saturday matinee on Saturday, February 23, at 2:00 p.m.
