Directions & Parking
Parking and the entrance for TheatreWorks is located at 20 Elm Street Ext, New Milford, CT, just off Route 202 and behind the former School Administration Building. Parking lot signs are placed at the two entrances to the lot, one on Route 202 and the other on Elm Street Extension. When looking at Google maps, the parking lot is next the New Milford Hospital Helipad. There is NO parking on Brookside Avenue.

TheatreWorks is an intimate 112-seat, black box theatre with great sightlines from every seat in the house. Black box theatres became popular and widespread particularly in the 1960s and 1970s.
A black box theatre consists of a simple, unadorned performance space, usually a large square room with black walls.
The black box is also considered by many to be a place where more "pure" theatre can be explored, with the most human and least technical elements being in focus.
Seats A11 & A13 are designated as handicap and can be removed to accommodate a wheelchair. We also have an ADA compliant portalet on site.
