Susie Hackel

SUSIE HACKEL (Player) is thrilled to make her TheaterWorks debut. A longtime resident of New Milford, she has appeared in theaters throughout the area including the Landmark Community Theater, The Warner Stage Company, The Gary-The Olivia Theater, the Goshen Players and the Sharon Playhouse. Some of her favorite roles include Grandma Addams (The Addams Family), Yente the Matchmaker (Fiddler on the Roof), Sister Mary Lazarus (Sister Act), Mrs. Alexander (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime), Ma Bailey (It’s a Wonderful Life), Miss Watson (Big River) and Mrs. Which (A Wrinkle in Time). She has appeared in the ensemble of many productions including Beauty and the Beast, Music Man, The Full Monty, Ragtime, Hello Dolly and Follies. A retired reading specialist in the New Milford Public Schools, Susie is enjoying her new career as a voiceover artist and audiobook narrator. She would like to thank the whole cast and crew for making this a magical experience!
