Calendar Notice for ‘Time Stands Still’ July 10 – August 1

NEW MILFORD, CONN. (May 28, 2015) – On July 10, TheatreWorks New Milford will premiere the gripping contemporary drama TIME STANDS STILL by Pulitzer Prize-winner Donald Margulies.

The story focuses on Sarah, a photojournalist, and James, a foreign correspondent and Sarah’s long-term boyfriend. Sarah has just returned to their apartment in Brooklyn after being injured covering a war zone. James, meanwhile, is riddled with guilt for having left Sarah alone. Theirs is a partnership based on telling the toughest stories, and together, making a difference. But when their own story takes a sudden turn, the adventurous couple confronts the uncertain prospect of a more conventional life. Smart, stylish, and timely, TIME STANDS STILL will inspire much discussion well after the curtain comes down.

The production features some of the region’s finest actors: Will Jeffries (Southbury), Alicia Dempster and Aaron Kaplan (both Danbury), and Erin Shaughnessy (New Milford).
