Steve Stott

Theatre-Works-Default-Person

Steve’s debut at TheatreWorks sees him taking on one of his favorite types of role. Pirate! He really should grow up and take acting seriously but much prefers having fun and hamming it up instead. Frequently seen on stage at the Sherman Playhouse, you may have caught him last year as Dr. Bradman in the highly successful run of Blithe Spirit and prior to that as the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland. He has also popped up at the Ridgefield Theater Barn in the sell-out production of Calendar Girls and Musicals at Richter – most recently sharing a part with current cast-mate Matt Austin! Early in 2016 Steve got terribly overexcited to branch out and film a small role in the CPTV series The Cobblestone Corridor, which premiered in the fall. Originating the role of Charles Davenport in writer/director Robin Frome’s new one act play As It Were rounded off a very busy year. Steve must thank director Alicia for the chance to be a part of this highly talented ensemble and to work with so many of his old cast-mates and new friends. Most of all thank you to Polly for letting him out to play and much love to Daisy now off at college far far away.
