Performance Added to ‘Mrs. Bob Cratchit’s Wild Christmas Binge’ TheatreWorks New Milford Adds New Show on December 18
NEW MILFORD, CONN. (December 5, 2008) – Due to overwhelming audience demand, TheatreWorks New Milford has added a performance to its production of MRS. BOB CRATCHIT’S WILD CHRISTMAS BINGE ― Christopher Durang’s hilarious parody of “A Christmas Carol” and other Holiday favorites. The new show is scheduled for Thursday, December 18, at 8:00 p.m.
“We have never seen demand like this for a show before its even opened,” said TheatreWorks President, Richard Pettibone. “The success lies with an uproarious script by award-winning playwright Christopher Durang, great direction by Beth Bonnabeau-Harding, and of a stellar cast of actors from all over the state.”
MRS. BOB CRATCHIT’S WILD CHRISTMAS BINGE runs December 5,6 12,13,14 18,19,20,21, and 31. Curtain time is 8:00 p.m. Fridays & Saturdays, with 2:00 p.m. Sunday matinees on December 14 and 21. Tickets for all shows, except December 31, are $20.00 for reserved seating. Please note that the December 5,6,12, 13, and 14 shows are SOLD OUT.
On New Year’s Eve, December 31, at 8:00 p.m. there will be one gala fundraising performance with hors d’oeuvres and an open bar of wine, beer, and soft drinks. Tickets for this event are $50.
