TWKids Youth Programs
The TheatreWorks Kids Programs offer extraordinary theatre experiences that educate, challenge, and inspire young people.
Led by theatre professionals, TWKids encourages creativity, collaboration, and active imaginations in a fun and welcoming environment.
Whether your kids grow up to be doctors, farmers, teachers, lawyers, or legislators, theatre provides them with the self-esteem, confidence, and inspiration they need to go out and embrace our amazing world.

WINTER WORKSHOP
Exploring One Act Short Plays
Wednesdays 4:30 - 6:30pm
Jan. 29, 2025 - Mar. 19, 2025 (8 weeks) - Ages 9 to 18 - Tuition $275.00
Three One-Acts written by Mikayla Delos-Santos, one of our finalists in the "2024 Tales from the Brookside" Playwright Competition. Students will learn scene study and fine tune their acting skills. Limited space available.

SPRING BREAK INTENSIVE

Ages 8 to 18 - Tuition $375.00
When it comes to fast food, people are particular – very particular. In this quick succession of quirky customers, the Order Up! restaurant takes on everything from weird food allergies to fanatical health inspectors, from the fear of eating to someone wanting to hide in the restroom, and on and on and on. Could there be a moment of sanity for the three employees who work behind this fast-food counter? Each role is gender-flexible and very balanced to give everyone their moment in the spotlight.

RISING STARS
Introduction to Musical Theatre
May 10th - June 7th, 2025 (4 weeks)
Sat. Mornings 9 AM - 12 PM & Tues. 4:30 - 6:30 PM
Ages 5 to 8 - Tuition $325.00
Young students will learn theatre basics, as well as music and choreography. This class is highly recommended before participating in other TW Kids’ Programs.

SUMMER MUSICAL
SHREK THE MUSICAL, JR.
July 21, 2025-Aug. 10. 2025 (3 weeks) - Monday-Friday 9AM - 3PM
Ages 7 to 17 - Tuition $600.00
Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek, Jr., based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find rue acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairytale; Shrek, Jr. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.
4 performances weekend of August 8, 9 &10.
FALL MUSICAL
WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, JR.

The delicious adventures of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl's fantastical tale. Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film, in addition to a host of fun new songs, Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka Jr. is a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth.
