Ticket Policy

(effective as of February 2007)

PURCHASE
Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the box office. To purchase tickets you'll need a credit card (MasterCard or Visa Only). Once tickets are purchased all sales are final and no refunds allowed.

SERVICE FEE
All tickets are subject to $1.50 per ticket service fee.

E-TICKET
Tickets are issued to the purchaser and may be subject to additional identity verification if requested by TheatreWorks Staff or the House Manager. In the event you forget to bring your e-ticket, you may be asked to go to the box office window to get your ticket(s) re-printed.

WILL-CALL
Tickets are held at the box office for pick up the day of the performance. Tickets may be picked up 1 hour prior to curtain time. It is suggested that tickets be picked up no later than 10 minutes prior to curtain. If you would like to pick up your tickets earlier you will need to make special arrangements with the box office to schedule a date and time.

RE-SELL REFUND / STANDBY TICKETS (SOLD OUT PERFORMANCES ONLY)
If the performance is sold out and you fail to arrive at the theatre, TheatreWorks will issue a refund for the ticket amount excluding service fees ONLY if it can re-sell the seat(s) to standby(s). Reservations are held until 5 minutes before curtain, after which the tickets are released. If you are running late, please call and your tickets will be held until your arrival.

TICKET EXCHANGE
While no refunds are allowed, TheatreWorks does offer a ticket exchange for remaining performances of the same show if canceled 24 hours before the performance. In that event, TheatreWorks will make every effort to accommodate you at an alternate performance. Any exchanges are based on availability at remaining performances. An exchange fee of $3.00 per ticket will apply for changes to the order.

NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE OR EXCHANGE
You will need to contact the box office by phone at (860) 350-6863 if you have any changes or cancellations to ticket orders. Additional fees may apply as stated here in the ticket policy.

SEASON TICKET HOLDERS / GIFT CERTIFICATE HOLDERS / COMP TICKETS
Patrons who fall into any of the above categories MUST make a reservation well in advance for the performance they wish to attend. You can exchange your ticket for another performance of the same show at no charge up to 24 hours prior to the performance. If you need to exchange tickets on the day of the performance, you will be charged $3.00 per ticket exchange fee. Same-day exchange privileges end at 12:00pm for the 2:00pm performances and 5:00pm for the 8:00pm performances. One night only events are non-exchangeable. All exchanges are subject to seating availability.

PHONE ORDERS
Tickets can also be purchased by calling the box office at (860) 350-6863. Once your message is received you will receive a confirmation call within 48-72 hours verifying your order. You will need to leave the following information on our secure voicemail system:

  • Your name with its correct spelling
  • Complete billing address
  • An evening phone number including area code
  • The number of tickets you require
  • The date you wish to attend
  • Credit card number, expiration date and the 3 digit security number on the back of the card. (MasterCard or Visa ONLY)
  • Season Ticket Holders / Gift Certificate Holders and Comp Ticket Holders do not need to leave credit card info
  • An e-mail address if you wish to receive an e-mail confirmation of your completed order

 

PERFORMANCE CANCELLATION REFUND
If events outside of the theatre's control (e.g., power failure, inclement weather) force the theatre to cancel a performance, we will issue a full refund to all ticket holders for that scheduled performance.

Privacy Policy

Information provided and collected either verbally or electronically via phone, fax, e-mail or the Internet, will be used solely by Creative Arts Center of New Milford, Inc. (dba TheatreWorks New Milford) and is not disclosed, sold, traded or distributed by any method or means both verbally or electronically.

TheatreWorks New Milford does not rent, sell or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated organizations, except to provide products or services you've requested when we have your permission.

TheatreWorks New Milford does not disclose, give, sell or share any personal information about you, unless required for law enforcement or statute.

TheatreWorks New Milford does collect and store non-personal information. When visiting our Web site, http://theatreworks.us, we automatically collect and store the following information about your visit:

  • The name of the domain you use to access the Internet and the IP address.
  • The date and time of your visit.
  • The pages you visited.
  • The address of the Web site you came from when visiting the site.

 

We use this information for security and for statistical purposes. Unless it is specifically stated otherwise, no additional information will be collected about you.

TheatreWorks New Milford limits access to personal information about you to TheatreWorks New Milford Staff who require it to fulfill their job responsibilities.

TheatreWorks New Milford has physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you.

Our site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that TheatreWorks New Milford is not responsible for the privacy practice of other such sites. We encourage our patrons to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every site that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by this site.

e-Commerce

TheatreWorks New Milford uses industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions of financial and certain other information. Financial information is stored in encrypted form on computers that are not publicly accessible via the Internet.

All transactions for product(s) or service(s) are listed and conducted in US dollars. ($USD)

Accepted forms of payment for product(s) or service(s) presented in person at the business box office are, but not limited to, the following; Cash, Check, Gift Certificate, Credit Cards (MasterCard or Visa only).

Accepted forms of payment for product(s) or service(s) via our Web site are limited to Credit Cards (MasterCard or Visa only).

Financial transaction(s) will appear as "TheatreWorks New Milford" or "Creative Arts Center of New Milford, Inc. dba TheatreWorks New Milford" on the credit card statement.

Affirmative Action Contract Compliance Policy Statement

(effective as of January 2009)

The Creative Arts Center of New Milford (dba "TheatreWorks New Milford") is an affirmative action employer, in compliance with all state and federal laws that prohibit discrimination and mandate affirmative action to overcome the present effects of past discrimination. Accordingly, we require that the individuals and organizations with which we do business do not engage in discriminatory practices.

This organization and our contractors shall fully comply with the CONTRACT COMPLIANCE REGULATIONS OF CONNECTICUT STATE AGENCIES, Sections 46a-68j-21 through 46a-68j-43, which establish procedures for evaluating compliance with Connecticut General Statutes, Section 4a-60, the state's nondiscrimination contract provisions.
